A Little Bit About Mrs. Ho

Hello and welcome to the 2015-2016 school year!

My name is Jackie Ho and I am excited to be returning to UDA for my sixth year. I am eager to embark upon another fabulous year of Kindergarten.  I am honored to be a part of the "family" that is the UDA teaching staff.  I cannot imagine working with a more positive, caring, and dedicated group of people who teach and inspire me on a daily basis.  I look forward to another year of challenges, successes, and fun!

A little bit more about me . . .

I was born and raised in sunny San Diego.  I received an Honors Bachelor of Arts at San Francisco State University and a Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential at San Diego State University. Although I often feel that I "left my heart in San Francisco", I am so thrilled to call San Diego my home once again. After receiving my credential, I began working as a long-term substitute teacher for the San Diego Unified School District.  I  had various long-term guest teacher experiences in 2nd and 3rd grade.  When I was introduced to UDA, I knew that I had found the teaching and learning environment for me. I look forward to another fun filled year of learning!  When I am not in the classroom I enjoy doing yoga and spin, cooking, hiking, shopping, decorating, and spending time with family and friends.

I look forward to welcoming and getting to know a wonderful community of students and families.  Working together, we are sure to have a fabulous kindergarten year!
